Quakers Boys Basketball Starts Season 2–0

The Quakers boys basketball team is off to a strong 2–0 start, picking up wins over Avon (79–64) and Noblesville (60–53). The season opener against Avon was a fast-paced game, with the Quakers led in scoring by Harper Baker-Lands, who finished with 18 points. Noah Smith and Landon Gilliatt each added 17 points, while Trey Barton made a major impact on the defensive end to help secure the victory. On Saturday, the Quakers traveled to Noblesville for a ranked matchup and earned a quality road win, 60–53. The team delivered a balanced scoring attack, with three players in double figures: 🏀Baker-Lands – 19 points 🏀Smith – 18 points 🏀Gilliatt – 10 points This Friday, the Quakers will host a Mid-State Conference opponent in a girls/boys doubleheader. 🏀 Freshmen tip at 5:00 PM in the fieldhouse 🏀 Varsity boys will play after the girls game, which starts at 6:00 PM in the main gym Come out and support Coach Weaver and the Quakers as they look to continue their strong start to the season! *Photo credits to Matt Edwards*
