The Quakers secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over the McCutcheon Mavericks on Monday night. Freshman Breanne Grimes opened the scoring with a left-footed finish, putting the Quakers on the board early. Lottie Baker then took control of the attack, netting two goals on the evening. Her first came on a brilliant breakaway against the Mavericks’ high defensive line, while her second was a rebound finish following a shot by Jaelyn Gardner. The Quakers return to action Wednesday at home against Martinsville. Please note, Wednesday’s match will be varsity only, with kickoff set for 6:00 pm. *Photographs by Matt Edwards*
