The Plainfield girls' soccer team earned an impressive 2–0 victory over Brownsburg in varsity action. The Quakers wasted no time getting on the board, as Jaelyn Gardner struck in the opening five minutes to give Plainfield the early 1–0 lead. The score held until the 48th minute, when Emma Conners unleashed a rocket that deflected off a Brownsburg defender and found the back of the net, doubling the advantage to 2–0. Defensively, the Quakers were rock solid all night. Senior Ella Miller anchored the back line, while senior goalkeeper Quincy Flora kept Brownsburg off the board with a strong performance between the posts. In the midfield, Krista Haberkorn and Bailey Errett controlled possession and set the tone throughout the match. Plainfield returns to action on Wednesday night when the Quakers host Greenwood. Varsity kicks off at 6:00 p.m., followed by a half of JV play. *Photographs credited to Matt Edwards Photography*
