Quakers Boys Soccer Battles to 2–2 Draw at Greenwood

By Michael Menser | Sep 19, 2025 9:44 AM

Plainfield Boys Soccer traveled to Greenwood on Thursday night and came away with a hard-fought 2–2 result. The Woodmen struck first to take an early 1–0 lead, but the Quakers quickly responded. Senior Evan Marble evened the match with a well-placed header, and senior Jerry Saintil added another goal late in the first half to give Plainfield a 2–1 advantage. Greenwood answered with a second-half goal, and despite both teams creating chances, the match ended in a 2–2 draw. The Quakers now turn their focus to a competitive weekend trip to Evansville for a series of big-time matchups. Good luck to Coach McAdams and the team!
