Plainfield Cross Country Competes at FlashRock Invitational

Plainfield’s cross country teams turned in strong performances at the prestigious FlashRock Invitational this weekend, competing against some of the top talent in the state. Boys Championship Race: In a field of 184 runners, the Plainfield boys finished 11th overall as a team. Ryan Evans led the way with a standout run, placing 24th overall and earning medalist honors. Zane Deugan followed with a solid 39th-place finish, while Jackson Hayes battled for 96th place. Rounding out the scoring were Connor Wright (141st) and Zac Siddons (142nd), helping secure the Quakers’ top-15 team finish. Girls Championship Race: The Plainfield girls also faced a deep and competitive field of 192 runners, finishing 15th overall as a team. Katie Campbell (43rd) and Adisyn Gorrell (47th) provided a strong one-two punch near the front of the pack. Tinley Woodruff placed 90th, with Hailey Kelley (130th) and Madison Weaver (134th) closing out the scoring for the Quakers. Cross Country travels to Franklin this Saturday for the Mid-State Championship races. Good luck, Quakers!
