The Lady Quakers closed out a memorable night with a big 6–3 victory over the Franklin Grizzly Cubs on Wednesday. The match was packed with offense and energy as Plainfield honored its eight seniors for their commitment to the program. Senior Jaelyn Gardner opened the scoring with a right-footed strike to put the Quakers on the board early. Krista Haberkorn followed with the first of her two goals, but Franklin quickly answered to cut the lead to 2–1. Plainfield struck again before halftime, taking a 3–1 advantage into the break. The second half saw Franklin pull within one, but Haberkorn responded with her second goal of the night to give the Quakers breathing room at 4–2. The offense didn’t stop there—Bre Grimes and Lottie Baker each found the back of the net, sealing the 6–3 win. After the final whistle, the Quakers celebrated their eight seniors, thanking them for their leadership, dedication, and impact in building the program over the last four years. The Quakers play Mooresville on Tuesday at 6:00 pm in sectional play at Plainfield High School.
